An information sheet of the Department of technological innovations and safety of plants, products and anthropic settlements (DIT), recently published on the Inail website, explains the methods of decontamination of plants and devices used in the health sector. The possibility of contracting an infectious disease as a result of exposure to biological agents, during the performance of one’s work in hospitals and social care facilities, represents a very real danger.In this sense, biological risk assessment is a priority for the identification and implementation of prevention measures to avoid exposure to pathogens and the occurrence of diseases related to them. Infection control tools have proven to be of fundamental importance to contain and limit the spread of infectious diseases in the spaces used for the treatment, diagnosis and assistance of patients. The period of the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need to implement a correct disinfection activity of sanitary environments, through the use of plants, devices, equipment or manually.
