Clinical case
A 70-year-old man presented to the emergency room with dyspnea, chest pain and non-productive cough, without fever.
The patient had chronic heart failure, atrial fibrillation and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease due to smoking.
At the time of the visit, oxygen saturation was 99%, pulse rate was 158 beats/minute and blood pressure was 145/103 mm Hg.
Body temperature was 36.5°C
